WHAT TO PACK

Bring comfortable, casual clothing (slacks and shorts, sneakers or tennis shoes, warm jackets, hats and sweaters for cool Maine nights) and don't forget your bathing suit. Bring your camera for taking snapshots of never-to-be-forgotten scenery, and that book you've been waiting to read. A pair of sunglasses and a tube of sunscreen will come in handy, but also prepare yourself for the occasional raindrop with oilskins or a slicker. Musical instruments are welcome, but only radios with earphones, please.
