CRUISE SCHEDULE

Because the Summertime easily accommodates small groups, the schedule is elastic. Due to popularity, a majority of the cruises on our schedule are listed as three-day cruises; however, two or more sequential cruises may be combined to accommodate a group that wishes to charter for a longer period. Passengers are encouraged to reserve longer cruises early in the season.

Group chartering is available, but arrangements will be at the discretion of the captain. Ordinarily, the Summertime does not accept passengers under the age of fourteen, however, people of any age are welcome in a group or family charter.

SPECIAL EVENTS

Participating in functions such as the Great Schooner Race or the Wooden Boat Sail-in requires that we sail in a particular direction (which may or may not be in co-operation with the weather) to reach our destination in time for the event. Usually the breezes are favorable, but, depending on the weather, sometimes we must shorten our tack in order to meet our timetable. However, these functions offer an exciting opportunity for passengers to enjoy each other's company while traveling with a fleet of fifteen to twenty traditional sailing vessels.

Weeks in which there are no special events still hold plenty of activity, however. The Summertime can sail without the encumbrance of adhering to a timetable, as long as she returns to Rockland on Saturday. We're at liberty to follow the breeze, visit different locations, and create our own schedule.

Please note that prices reflect discounts on longer trips. It's less work for us with greater savings and more fun for you! Also reservations made by April 30 will be rewarded with a 10% discount. Reservations made before June 30 will receive a 5% discount.
